An 87-year-old man in Marin County was on his way to his local Department of Motor Vehicles office when he became confused and began driving down a narrow bicycle/pedestrian path that runs parallel to Highway 101. He drove as far as he could down the path until his car was eventually so tightly wedged between the concrete walls that a tow truck had to be called to help remove the Toyota.
The driver suggested to police that “They should block that off, that passageway.”
He will have to undergo a mandatory driving test to re-evaluate if he should be allowed to have a license.
Nobody was injured, except for maybe the drivers ego.
